Improve your research skills with IALS Library training

IALS Library offers free information skills training to all postgraduate law students and academic staff with a current IALS Library card or SAScard.

During the Autumn term we will be running the following training sessions:

Introduction to IALS Library and its Resources
In this session we will tell you all about IALS Library and how to find what you need. We will also give you some tips on using online resources.

Introduction to Westlaw UK & Lexis Library: Hands-on Session
This session is designed to give you hands-on experience using two key legal databases. You will learn how to find UK legislation, cases and journal articles as well as foreign and international law.

Sources of Public International Law: Hands-on Session
In this session you will find out where to find treaties, international law cases and decisions of domestic courts on international law.

Introduction to OSCOLA
Learn how to reference your work using the Oxford Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities.
