Online Event

This is the third of a series of three workshops aimed at academics in law schools at all career stages. We will explore a range of issues related to academic career development, from the perspective of three current and former law professors who have had career paths to Professor which would be perceived to be out of the ordinary, unusual, yet successful. They share their experiences – the challenges and the benefits of taking a career route that is unusual.

The confirmed speakers for this workshop are:

Professor Rosemary Auchmuty (University of Reading)

Professor Caroline Hunter (University of York)

Mr Kevin Bampton (CEO of the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) and Former Professor of Law at De Montfort University)

It will be chaired by Penny Carey, Dean of the Hertfordshire Law School, University of Hertfordshire and Vice-Chair of CHULS.

This seminar is organised in collaboration with the Committee of Heads of UK Law Schools (CHULS)
